Obama

Obama is going to be a tough act to follow. He's setting an excellent example for future presidents to follow. How do you fault a man who's having hot-dog sandwich with his fellow citizens days before he's officially appointed president?

What were former presidents in his shoes doing? Having a vacation before taking on the post? I wonder.

Not saying he's perfect; hope he's able to keep up the good work. It would be a real disappointment if he were to falter. Somehow though, I get the feeling he will do his damnest to keep the flag flying high. He's in excellent shape.

Electricity Tariff is too High

My heart aches this month as I pay for the electric bill.

The price of electricity is at the moment still tagged to $155/barrel when the open market price as of now, at 1 Jan 2009 11pm, is at most $45.

Even after the revision, which has yet to take effect, Singaporeans will still be charged based on $92/barrel. This is more than double the actual price of as at this moment.

Rather puzzling, don't you think?
